Lahore ( UMAR HAUAT CH) Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Ziauddin Ansari Advocate, has strongly demanded the Punjab Government to immediately abolish the toll tax imposed at the Kahna Flyover, terming it unjustified and equivalent to extortion from the public.He stated that the entire country, including Lahore, is facing a severe economic, social, and administrative crisis. Rising inflation, widespread unemployment, exorbitant electricity and gas bills, and persistent mismanagement have made life extremely difficult for the common citizen.Ziauddin Ansari pointed out that Kahna Flyover is the only flyover in Lahore where a toll tax is being charged, which is discriminatory and unacceptable.
