Ameer jamaat e islami Lahore Zia-ud_Din Ansari advocate has strongly condemned the use of state force and violence against peaceful and unarmed citizens in Karachi, stating that such actions are contrary to democratic values and constitutional principles. He said that the resilience and steadfastness of the people of Karachi, who came out to demand their constitutional and civic rights, is commendable. Despite baton charges and shelling, they remained peaceful and demonstrated remarkable determination and discipline.He further stated that depriving citizens of an empowered local government and attempting to silence public voices through the use of force is unacceptable in any democratic society. According to him, democracy is founded on respect for public opinion, representation, and fundamental rights, and any deviation from these principles may lead to deeper political instability.
