Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Azhar Bilal, President Al-Khidmat Foundation Lahore Engineer Hammad Rashid, Chief Operating Officer Mughees Qureshi and others officially inaugurated the Food Hub in Mansoura.
Lahore: Alkhidmat Foundation Lahore has established a modern and well-organized Ramadan Food Hub at Mansoora to provide relief to underprivileged and deserving families during the holy month of Ramadan. The facility was formally inaugurated by Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Azhar Bilal, along with President Alkhidmat Foundation Lahore Engineer Hammad Rashid and Chief Operating Officer Mughis Qureshi.The inauguration ceremony was attended by Vice President Chaudhry Muhammad Saleem, Director Orphan Care Program Masood ul Ahad, and other officials and volunteers of Alkhidmat Foundation. On this occasion, Azhar Bilal visited various sections of the Food Hub and reviewed the operational arrangements in detail.Addressing the ceremony, Azhar Bilal stated that Ramadan is a month of compassion, sacrifice, and service to humanity. He emphasized that Alkhidmat Foundation annually arranges relief for thousands of deserving families and continues its mission with renewed commitment this year. He further assured that every penny donated to Alkhidmat is utilized with complete transparency and delivered to the rightful beneficiaries.President Alkhidmat Foundation Lahore Engineer Hammad Rashid, while briefing the participants, shared that the Ramadan Relief Program includes the preparation of quality and balanced food packages comprising flour, rice, pulses, sugar, cooking oil/ghee, tea, and other essential grocery items. These packages will be delivered respectfully and systematically to deserving families across the city through Alkhidmat’s local committees, ensuring the dignity of white-collar households is preserved. Azhar Bilal also appealed to the citizens of Lahore and philanthropists to actively participate in this welfare initiative through Zakat, donations, and charitable contributions so that no deserving family remains deprived during the blessed month of Ramadan.The ceremony concluded with a renewed commitment that Alkhidmat Foundation Lahore will continue to uphold the principles of service, integrity, and transparency, strengthening public trust in its humanitarian mission.
