
Lahore: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate visited the Iranian Consulate along with a delegation and held a meeting with the Consul General of Iran Mehran Mowakhedfar.The delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami expressed profound grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei , and conveyed heartfelt condolences and solidarity to the government and people of Iran. The Ameer also recorded his remarks in the condolence book placed at the Consulate and paid tribute to the services of the martyred leader.Speaking on the occasion, Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate stated that the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei is not only a loss for Iran but for the entire Muslim Ummah. He strongly condemned the aggressive actions by the United States and Israel against Iran, describing them as a threat to global peace and stability.He further stated that the people of Pakistan stand firmly with Iran in this difficult time, acknowledging Iran’s role in defending the oppressed Palestinian Muslims. He urged the Pakistani leadership to adopt a clear and unequivocal stance in support of Iran.The Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore also offered special prayers for the security, stability, and success of Iran.The delegation included Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Azhar Bilal, Deputy Ameers Engineer Akhlaq Ahmad, Khalid Ahmad Butt, Malik Shahid Aslam, Deputy Secretary Rashid Daud, President Public Aid Committee Qaiser Sharif, and President JI Youth Lahore Jibran Butt.
