LAHORE (Umar Hayat CH) The Railway Prem Union (CBA) organized a prestigious Iftar dinner in honor of railway employees, presided over by Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate, Central Chairman of Railway Prem Union Pakistan and Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore. The event witnessed a large turnout of railway workers, including Sheikh Muhammad Anwar, Central President of Railway Prem Union Open Line, symbolizing a strong sense of unity and brotherhood within the railway community. Addressing the participants, Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate highlighted the spiritual significance of Ramadan and the responsibilities of Muslims. He stated:
The holy month of Ramadan, with all its blessings and mercies, grants us the opportunity to seek closeness to Allah. We must ensure that the spirit of devotion and steadfastness we practiced during this month remains a part of our lives throughout the year. Consistency in prayers and aligning our lives with divine commands should be our priority.”He further emphasized that those blessed with financial abundance by Allah must fulfill their obligations of Hajj, Zakat, and Sadaqah, making the service of humanity their core value. Regarding the upcoming occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Zia-ud-Din Ansari appealed to the attendees to remember the underprivileged, saying: “True joy on Eid is only achieved when we include our poor relatives, orphans, and the needy in our celebrations.”The Central Chairman highly commended Central President Sheikh Muhammad Anwar and his entire team for the successful organization of the grand Iftar dinner. The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the stability of the country, the prosperity of the nation, and the welfare of railway employees.
