Iran Defeated Superpower Arrogance in War; Arab Countries Should Abandon Reliance on the U.S. and Europe: Zia-ud-Din Ansari



Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate, while addressing a meeting of the Baradari organization, termed the ceasefire between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States as a positive development for the region. He stated that Iran, by standing firm in the war, defeated superpower arrogance and upheld its sovereignty and national dignity, which is a matter of pride for the entire Muslim Ummah.He emphasized that unity and solidarity in the Muslim world are the need of the hour, and Iran’s recent resilience has further highlighted this reality. In the context of the evolving regional situation, Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts are commendable, which played a key role in making the ceasefire between the United States and Iran possible.Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate further said that despite pressure and hegemonic ambitions from global powers, particularly the United States, Iran demonstrated steadfastness and defended its independence and national honor. This situation sends a clear message to the Muslim Ummah that mutual unity, a shared strategy, and strong diplomacy are essential for lasting stability.He urged Arab countries to abandon their policy of reliance on the United States and Europe, and instead prioritize collective interests through self-reliance. He added that all Muslim countries must set aside their differences and unite on a common platform to effectively safeguard their interests at the global level.He concluded that unity of the Ummah is the only path that not only offers solutions to current challenges but also lays the foundation for a secure and stable future for coming generations.
