Affluent Individuals Should Generously Support the Deserving During Ramadan.

Lahore: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Zia ud Din Ansari Advocate, stated that Ramadan is a sacred month of blessings, mercy, and forgiveness that teaches the values of piety, patience, sacrifice, and selflessness. He expressed these views while addressing an Iftar dinner hosted in honor of local residents at the residence of District West President for Political Affairs Zahoor Ahmed Watto. He emphasized that the true message of Ramadan is to promote brotherhood, love, mutual respect, and social harmony. Given the prevailing economic challenges, it is imperative that along with offering prayers and, special attention be given to the poor, needy, white-collar families, and close relatives. It should never happen that our dining tables are filled with a variety of dishes while our neighbors or relatives lack even the basic necessities for Sehri and Iftar.Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore urged well-off individuals to extend generous support to the deserving and remain aware of the circumstances of those around them. Addressing the youth, he encouraged them to make Ramadan a source of self-reform, character building, and social service in order to help build a moral, welfare-oriented, and strong society.The event was attended by Jamaat-e-Islami leaders Abdul Aziz Abid, Khawaja Waseem, along with a large number of local residents, including elders, youth, and children, who reaffirmed their commitment to unity and community service.
