Lahore: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate, has said that the path of the Qur’an and Sunnah and the unity of the Muslim Ummah are the only real solutions to the challenges facing Muslims today. Jamaat-e-Islami will continue its peaceful and democratic struggle for the establishment of a just system based on the Qur’an and Sunnah in the country.He expressed these views while addressing a Fahm-ul-Qur’an lecture class at Syed Maududi Islamic Center, Lytton Road, Lahore. He said that the Muslim world is currently facing serious challenges and Muslims in different regions are being subjected to oppression.He stated that Iran has represented the sentiments of the Muslim Ummah by standing against the aggression of the United States and Israel. He added that Muslims in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and Kashmir are facing increasing hardships, which is a matter of serious concern for the entire Ummah.Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate emphasized that in the current situation, the Muslim Ummah must rise above differences and demonstrate unity and solidarity. He stressed that understanding the teachings of the Qur’an and implementing them in both individual and collective life is the need of the hour.He further said that Jamaat-e-Islami will continue its efforts to spread the message of the Qur’an and Sunnah and to establish a just Islamic society.
