Youth Are the Greatest Force for Peaceful Democratic Change and Social Reform; Public Mobilization Campaign Must Reach Every Educational Institution, Street, Neighborhood and Market.

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Addresses Meeting of JI Youth Lahore Office-Bearers at Syed Maududi Islamic Centre

Lahore: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Ziauddin Ansari Advocate, has said that the August 7 protest is not merely a political activity but a public movement aimed at safeguarding the rights of students, youth, bike riders, delivery workers and ordinary citizens. He stated that the youth represent the strongest force for bringing about positive change, social reform and a just system through peaceful, organized and democratic struggle.He expressed these views while addressing a meeting of the office-bearers of JI Youth Lahore at the Syed Maududi Islamic Centre. The meeting reviewed preparations for the August 7 protest in detail, including organizational strategy, public mobilization, campaign planning and the targets set for ensuring a successful event. Various responsibilities were assigned to the participants to strengthen preparations across the city.The meeting was attended by Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Secretary Azhar Bilal, Deputy Ameers Malik Shahid Aslam and Waqas Ahmad Butt, Deputy Secretaries Rashid Dawood and Qaiser Sharif, JI Youth Lahore Secretary Hamza Bilal, along with office-bearers of JI Youth from all districts and zones of Lahore.Addressing the participants, Ziauddin Ansari Advocate directed that the public outreach campaign be further intensified to ensure maximum participation of young people in the August 7 protest. He urged workers to mobilize youth through motorcycle and vehicle caravans and to expand the campaign in universities, colleges, educational institutions, neighborhoods, markets and other public places so that the message of Jamaat-e-Islami reaches every young citizen.He emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami has consistently struggled for the rights of young people, including employment opportunities, quality education, relief from inflation and the protection of citizens’ fundamental rights, and will continue to represent their concerns at every forum.He further stated that the August 7 protest will serve as an important milestone in the struggle for public rights, a better future for the youth and the establishment of a just and equitable system. He appealed to the youth to participate actively and peacefully in the demonstration and raise their voice for their legitimate rights.At the conclusion of the meeting, the office-bearers of JI Youth Lahore reaffirmed their commitment to making the August 7 protest historic through disciplined organization and massive public participation. They also resolved to further accelerate the public mobilization campaign at the district, zone and union council levels across Lahore.
