LAHORE: The Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Lahore, Ziauddin Ansari Advocate, has stated that Jamaat-e-Islami remains the nation’s final hope against the crushing burden of inflation and looming starvation. He emphasized that only through honest and sincere leadership can the country be rescued from its current crises.He expressed these views while speaking to the media during a membership drive camp for the “Badal Do Nizam” (Change the System)** campaign. He highlighted that the undeclared loadshedding of electricity and gas, coupled with the exorbitant rise in petroleum prices, has unleashed an uncontrollable wave of inflation. The public is being crushed under the wheels of economic hardship, while the ruling elite, instead of providing relief, continues its failed attempt to mislead the nation with tall claims and hollow promises.Ziauddin Ansari Advocate further noted that the common man is enduring extreme difficulties. Paying utility bills has become a daunting challenge, and ensuring two square meals a day has become impossible for the underprivileged segments of society. He stated that due to anti-people government policies, every sector—including traders, farmers, teachers, doctors, and the general public—is suffering from severe economic pain and despair. The existing obsolete system has lost its efficacy, forcing citizens to take to the streets in protest.The Ameer of JI Lahore stated that the “Badal Do Nizam” membership campaign is a true reflection of the public’s sentiments across Lahore and the entire country. Through this campaign, the message of the Quran and Sunnah is being taken to every household to pave the way for a sincere and honest leadership capable of steering the nation out of this crisis.He appealed to the citizens, especially the youth, to become a part of Jamaat-e-Islami’s “Badal Do Nizam” membership drive and join hands in an organized struggle to dismantle this exploitative system.
