Lahore: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Ziauddin Ansari Advocate, has expressed profound grief over the demise of Ameer-ul-Azeem, describing his passing as an irreparable loss not only for Jamaat-e-Islami but also for the wider religious, intellectual, and national community.He said that Ameer-ul-Azeem devoted his entire life to the supremacy of Islam, the mission of Iqamat-e-Deen (establishing the Divine way of life), and the service of humanity. He was a man of unwavering faith, exceptional integrity, humility, and steadfast commitment whose life embodied sincerity, sacrifice, and devotion to Allah.Ziauddin Ansari stated that Ameer-ul-Azeem remained untouched by worldly wealth, power, or personal gain. From his youth until his final breath, he fulfilled his covenant with Allah by dedicating every moment of his life to the cause of Islam. His wisdom, profound understanding of the Qur’an, intellectual depth, and exemplary character made him a source of guidance and inspiration for thousands of workers and well-wishers.He further said that throughout his prolonged illness, Ameer-ul-Azeem demonstrated extraordinary patience, perseverance, and complete trust in Allah. He never complained of hardship; instead, he faced every trial with gratitude, dignity, and unwavering faith. His life taught that a true believer remains steadfast in adversity, embraces challenges with patience, and seeks only the pleasure of Allah.”Ameer-ul-Azeem may no longer be physically among us,” Ziauddin Ansari said, “but his gentle smile, noble character, sincerity, ideological conviction, compassion, and unwavering commitment to Islamic values will continue to live in our hearts. He leaves behind not material wealth or worldly achievements, but an enduring legacy of character, faith, and moral leadership that will continue to inspire generations to come.”He added that great personalities never truly depart from history. They leave behind timeless values, exemplary conduct, and a moral heritage that lights the path for those who continue the struggle for truth and justice.Ziauddin Ansari prayed that Almighty Allah may grant Ameer-ul-Azeem the highest ranks in Jannat-ul-Firdous, accept his lifelong services to Islam, forgive his shortcomings, and bless his family, colleagues, and admirers with patience and strength during this difficult time.
