Lahore: A ceremony for the oath-taking of the Acting Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore was held at Syed Modoodi Islamic Centre, where Naib Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Khalid Ahmed Butt took oath as Acting Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore.
Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Ziauddin Ansari Advocate is scheduled to depart for Umrah. In view of his absence, Khalid Ahmed Butt has been entrusted with the responsibilities of Acting Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore.
Khalid Ahmed Butt took the oath in the presence of Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Ziauddin Ansari Advocate, Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Azhar Bilal, and Naib Ameer Chaudhry Shaukat.
Deputy Secretaries Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Amir Nisar Khan, Rashid Dawood, Abdul Aziz Abid, Mirza Shoaib Yaqoob and Musa Mujahid, along with other office-bearers, attended the ceremony. Staff members of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, including Muhammad Waqas Zafar and Muhammad Faisal, were also present.
On the occasion, the office-bearers of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore extended their best wishes to Khalid Ahmed Butt on assuming the responsibilities of Acting Ameer and prayed for his steadfastness, success and ability to discharge his responsibilities effectively.
Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Ziauddin Ansari Advocate and other office-bearers also expressed their good wishes for Khalid Ahmed Butt and prayed for his success, steadfastness and the effective fulfillment of his responsibilities.
