Grand Kashmir March to Be Held on Mall Road Lahore on February 5 under the Leadership of Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman
Lahore: An important All Parties Conference was held at Syed Maududi Islamic Centre Lahore under the auspices of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore in connection with the Kashmir March to be organized on February 5 Kashmir Solidarity Day. The conference was presided over by Ziauddin Ansari Advocate, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore.Leaders from various political and religious parties participated in the conference, including Hafiz Kazim Raza Shia Ulema Council, Chaudhry Muhammad Shaukat Former Member Punjab Assembly, Qari Qasim Baloch Majlis Asrar-e-Islam Pakistan, Engineer Mushtaq Mahmood (Executive Member, Hurriyat Conference Kashmir Punjab, Mian Waheed Ahmed Pakistan Muslim League-Q, Dr. Shamshad President Minority Affairs, Azhar Bilal Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Deputy Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Khalid Ahmed Butt, Waqar Ahmed Butt, Maulana Muhammad Asim Makhdoom, Mazhar Jilani, and other political and religious leaders.Addressing the conference, Ziauddin Ansari Advocate stated that the unilateral revocation of the special status of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019, was a blatant violation of United Nations resolutions. He said that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and Pakistan’s completion is impossible without Kashmir. He urged the Government of Pakistan and the armed forces to play an effective and decisive role in resolving the issues of Kashmir and Palestine.He further stated that if the United States launches an attack on Iran, the entire Pakistani nation will stand with Iran. He criticized aggressive American policies, calling them a serious threat to global peace and stability.He announced that a grand Kashmir March will be held on February 5 at 10:30 a.m., starting from the State Bank on Mall Road Lahore, in which thousands of men and women will participate to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine.Other speakers emphasized that silence on Kashmir and Palestine amounts to supporting oppression. They stated that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people will not go in vain, and that despite ceasefire claims, the continued martyrdom of Kashmiris is a serious question mark for the international community. They stressed that all political parties are united on the Kashmir issue, minorities also stand with the Kashmiri people, and it is a national responsibility to educate the younger generation about the Kashmir cause. At the conclusion of the conference, a joint All Parties resolution was unanimously passed, stating that if the United States attacks Iran, the Pakistani nation will stand with Iran and extend all possible political, moral, and diplomatic support. The resolution demanded that the Government of Pakistan play an effective, proactive, and result-oriented role at the international level to resolve the issues of Kashmir and Palestine. It was finally announced that a grand Kashmir March will be held on Mall Road Lahore on February 5 Kashmir Solidarity Day with the participation of all schools of thought and political parties.
