Lahore: The continuous, sincere, and dedicated efforts of the Public Aid Committee of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore have finally borne fruit. A major breakthrough has emerged for the affectees of housing societies who had been deprived of their legitimate rights for years. Following multiple rounds of negotiations between Jamaat-e-Islami and the management of SA Garden, a formal written agreement has been reached, under which the issuance of plot possession letters to the affectees of Sher Afghan Block has officially commenced.To mark this historic achievement, a dignified ceremony was held at Syed Maududi Islamic Center, Lytton Road Lahore, where possession letters were distributed among the affectees. The ceremony was attended by Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Ziauddin Ansari, President Public Aid Committee Qaiser Sharif, Secretary Shahid Naveed Malik, Convener Housing Societies Ahmed Salman Baloch, Usman Afzal, Mushtaq Butt, along with senior officials of SA Garden management.The joy of the affectees, who had struggled for years to secure their rightful claims, was clearly visible as they received their possession letters. Participants highly appreciated the efforts of Jamaat-e-Islami for successfully resolving the issue.Office-bearers of the Public Aid Committee Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, under the leadership of Ziauddin Ansari Advocate, held serious, professional, and result-oriented negotiations with the SA Garden administration. After several negotiation sessions, both parties agreed upon a detailed schedule for the handover of plots. Subsequently, the written agreement was signed by SA Garden CEO Shoaib Afzal, Ziauddin Ansari Advocate, and other leaders.Addressing the ceremony, Ziauddin Ansari Advocate stated that Jamaat-e-Islami is the voice of every oppressed, helpless, and deprived citizen of the country.The Public Aid Committee of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore is working day and night for the relief of affectees across Lahore. Until all affectees of various housing societies receive their legitimate rights, Jamaat-e-Islami will continue its legal, political, and public struggle.He also paid rich tribute to the entire Public Aid Committee team for ensuring major relief for the SA Garden affectees and successfully concluding the negotiations.
