Lahore: The life of the late Mian Maqsood Ahmad serves as a beacon of guidance for all. He was a sincere mentor, a fearless preacher of truth, and an enduring symbol of steadfastness throughout every challenging phase of the Islamic movement. His passing has created a void that will be felt for generations.These views were expressed by speakers at a grand condolence reference organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore to pay tribute to the remarkable religious, political, and social services of the former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab, the late Mian Maqsood Ahmad (May Allah have mercy on him). Thousands of young people learned sincerity, devotion, perseverance, and dedication to the cause of Islam under his guidance. From his youth until his final breath, he devoted his entire life to establishing the Islamic way of life, promoting the message of Islam, and nurturing future generations.The speakers observed that Mian Maqsood Ahmad remained a loyal and steadfast worker of the Islamic movement who faced every trial and challenge with patience, wisdom, determination, and an unwavering smile. Whenever the movement encountered difficult times, he was always found standing in the front ranks, leading by example with sincerity, courage, and vision.They further stated that he dedicated his life to the supremacy of Islam, serving the oppressed and underprivileged, promoting social welfare, and strengthening Islamic values in society. His selfless and exemplary services have become a shining chapter in history and will continue to inspire future generations with the spirit of faith, service, and commitment to the cause of Islam.The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt collective prayer for the elevation of the late Mian Maqsood Ahmad’s ranks in the Hereafter, the acceptance of his lifelong services, and for Allah Almighty to grant patience, strength, and steadfastness to his family, colleagues, and members of the Islamic movement.
