Education and Dawah Are the Foundation of Islamic Revival: Ziauddin Ansari Advocate



Districts Directed to Further Strengthen Educational and Dawah Activities:


Lahore: A key meeting of the Education Department of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore was held under the chairmanship of Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Ziauddin Ansari Advocate. The meeting was attended by office-bearers of the Education and Dawah Departments from all districts of Lahore.The participants held detailed deliberations on making educational, training, dawah, and organizational activities more effective, systematic, and dynamic. Various proposals were presented to further promote educational and dawah work in light of the prevailing circumstances, and a comprehensive roadmap for future activities was discussed.Addressing the meeting, Ziauddin Ansari Advocate said that education and dawah constitute the very foundation of Islamic revival. He emphasized that strengthening educational and dawah initiatives at every level is indispensable for character building, the development of a righteous society, and the promotion of Islamic values.He directed district office-bearers to accelerate educational, training, and dawah activities in their respective areas through effective planning and coordinated efforts. He further stressed the need to actively engage students, teachers, educational institutions, youth, and all segments of society in order to effectively convey the message of Islam.On the occasion, Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Azhar Bilal, also addressed the participants and underscored the importance of stronger coordination, organizational harmony, and strategic planning to further enhance educational and dawah activities.The meeting was attended by Dr. Mahmood Ahmad, President of the Education Department, Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore; Mehar Saeed Akhtar, Director Education, Alkhidmat Foundation; Waqar Ahmad, Education and Research Coordinator, Tanzeem-e-Asatiza Punjab; as well as Shahbaz Imtiaz, Dr. Ahmad Sher Awan, Athar Mahmood, Mushtaq Ahmad Haqqani, Mubashir Ahmad Siddiqui, Dr. Mumtaz Ahmad, and other office-bearers.The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to further strengthen educational, training, and dawah activities in a more organized, effective, and dynamic manner to promote Islamic values, constructive social development, and positive change across society.
