Dignified Oath-Taking Ceremony Held at Syed Maududi Islamic Center
Lahore: A dignified oath-taking ceremony of the Majlis-e-Shura of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore was held at the Syed Maududi Islamic Center under the chairmanship of Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate.The ceremony was attended by Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Azhar Bilal, along with members of the Shura and elected representatives from various districts. Deputy Ameers of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Khalid Ahmad Butt, Malik Shahid Aslam, Engineer Ikhlaq Ahmad, and Chaudhry Muhammad Shaukat were also present on the occasion.Elected members of the Shura from different districts included Saif-ur-Rehman and Usman Afzal (North Lahore), Mian Khabeeb Nazir, Ahmad Raza Dogar, and Engineer Tauqeer Ahmad (East Lahore), Shoaib Yaqoob Mirza and Syed Burhan Hussain (Central Lahore), Abdul Rasheed Mirza, Engineer Ahmad Salman, Ahmad Salman Baloch, and Salman Ayub (South Lahore), while Ali Murtaza Hasni, Talha Idrees, Aftab Alam, and Chaudhry Abdul Qayyum Gujjar (West Lahore) were also among the participants.All members of the Majlis-e-Shura took oath of their responsibilities in the presence of the leadership. Following the oath-taking, Ameer Lahore Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate led a special prayer.At the conclusion of the ceremony, the members of the Shura reaffirmed their commitment to strive with full dedication and energy for the cause of the supremacy of Islam in an organized and effective manner.
