Enforcement of Quran and Sunnah Remains the Core Mission of Jamaat-e-Islami: Ziauddin Ansari


Lahore: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Ziauddin Ansari Advocate, has said that the enforcement of Deen in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunnah remains the fundamental mission of Jamaat-e-Islami. He stated that serving humanity, supporting those in distress, caring for orphans, and participating in welfare activities are among the deeds that earn the pleasure of Almighty Allah.He expressed these views while addressing an Eid gathering organized in honor of workers and volunteers who participated in the Eid-ul-Adha Sacrificial Hide Collection Campaign in Shahdara.Paying rich tribute to the dedicated workers who carried out their responsibilities during the Eid days despite extreme weather conditions, he described them as a valuable asset of Jamaat-e-Islami. He particularly appreciated the efforts of volunteers who collected sacrificial hides to support welfare projects and orphan care programs, acknowledging their selfless services and commitment to humanitarian causes.Ziauddin Ansari said that members and workers of Jamaat-e-Islami should make the pleasure of Allah their ultimate objective in life. He emphasized that encouraging people towards righteousness, striving for social reform, and working for the betterment of society are among the primary objectives of the organization.He further stated that Jamaat-e-Islami workers should remain steadfast in the struggle for the supremacy of Allah’s Deen throughout their lives and maintain their commitment to the movement until their last breath. He remarked that secular and man-made systems have pushed the masses into numerous social and economic difficulties, distancing people from their true purpose in life and from the struggle for the establishment of Islamic values. He urged party workers to reconnect society with these ideals and motivate people to become part of this noble mission.The ceremony was attended by Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Secretary General Azhar Bilal, District Ameer Mian Usman Afzal, District Qayyim Chaudhry Aslam, Public Aid Secretary Shahid Naveed Malik, Jahangir Khan, Chaudhry Abdul Rasheed, and a large number of members and workers.On the occasion, the local and district leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore also paid tribute to the workers involved in the Sacrificial Hide Collection Campaign and highly appreciated their dedication, commitment, and invaluable services.
