LAHORE(Umar Hayat CH)A high-level delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, led by Deputy Emir Liaqat Baloch, visited Jamia Urwa-tul-Wusqa and met with the eminent religious scholar, Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi. The delegation also included the Emir of JI Central Punjab, Muhammad Javed Kasuri, and the Emir of JI Lahore, Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate. Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi warmly welcomed the Jamaat-e-Islami delegation upon their arrival.During the meeting, detailed consultations were held regarding the upcoming “Shaheed-e-Ummah Conference,” scheduled to take place on June 13 at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore. The leaders reviewed the aims and objectives of the conference, program preparations, administrative arrangements, and other key matters.The discussion also focused on the internal and external challenges facing the Muslim world, national and religious issues, and the collective responsibilities of the Muslim Ummah. The participants strongly emphasized that under the current global circumstances, enhancing communication, solidarity, and cooperation among different segments of the Ummah and religious-political forces is absolutely indispensable.Speaking on the occasion, Liaqat Baloch and Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate stated that the unity of the Ummah is the true source of strength and success for the Muslim world. They added that a joint struggle and mutual harmony are vital to overcoming the ongoing trials and tribulations faced by Muslims globally.The delegation and Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi renewed their commitment to making the Shaheed-e-Ummah Conference an impactful platform for global Muslim unity, intellectual guidance, and awakening, aimed at playing a positive and constructive role at both the national and global levels.
