
Lahore: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Ziauddin Ansari Advocate, has stated that the federal budget is anti-people, disappointing, and heavily tilted against the poor. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami will launch a strong nationwide public movement against inflation, unjust taxation, and exploitative economic policies. Under the leadership of Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, the struggle for public rights will be further intensified across the country.He expressed these views while speaking to media representatives and traders during the ongoing “Change the System” membership campaign, door-to-door outreach, and membership camps organized in Baghbanpura by Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore in collaboration with JI Youth and the Department of Dawah.On the occasion, Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Azhar Bilal, Deputy Ameer Engineer Akhlaq Ahmad, President JI Youth Lahore Jibran Butt, Ameer North Lahore Mian Usman Afzal, Saif-ur-Rehman, Zahid Shabab Butt, Abdul Rehman, and other local leaders were also present. The leadership visited markets, commercial centers, and public places, meeting traders, shopkeepers, and citizens, and inviting them to join Jamaat-e-Islami and become part of the movement for real change.The leaders distributed pamphlets across markets and intersections, while a large number of citizens completed membership forms and joined Jamaat-e-Islami. Traders and citizens expressed their resolve to support Jamaat-e-Islami’s struggle against the corrupt and anti-people system.Ziauddin Ansari Advocate said that the objective of Jamaat-e-Islami’s struggle is the establishment of a just system based on the teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunnah, along with the protection of fundamental rights of the people. He said that the participation of millions in the membership drive represents a public referendum against the existing corrupt system, while the growing public engagement reflects the demand for real change.He further stated that under the leadership of Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, Jamaat-e-Islami is preparing to launch a nationwide movement against inflation, unemployment, unjust taxation, and exploitative economic policies. Criticizing the federal budget, he termed it a deception of figures and a burden on the common man, stating that the 17 trillion rupees budget further increases pressure on salaried individuals, government employees, and the working class.He added that Jamaat-e-Islami will continue its struggle at every forum for the protection of public rights, elimination of inflation, and liberation from interest-based and exploitative economic systems. He urged the youth to actively participate by joining Jamaat-e-Islami and becoming part of the movement for an Islamic, welfare-based, and prosperous Pakistan.
