Alkhidmat Foundation Lahore Holds Independence Day Ceremony with Enthusiastic Participation of Orphan Children
LAHORE: Patron of Alkhidmat Foundation Lahore, Ziauddin Ansari Advocate, while addressing a ceremony on the objectives of the creation of Pakistan and the ideology of Pakistan, said that August 14 reminds us of the great sacrifices that led to the creation of Pakistan.He said that the purpose of celebrating Independence Day with orphan children was to provide them happiness and ensure their active participation in national celebrations. Ziauddin Ansari Advocate said that the security, stability and prosperity of Pakistan was a collective responsibility of all citizens, and the entire nation was determined to sacrifice everything for the security of the motherland.He further said that the orphan children demonstrated their strong patriotic spirit and proved their love for Pakistan by actively participating in the Independence Day celebrations.He expressed these views while addressing a dignified cake-cutting and flag-hoisting ceremony organized by Alkhidmat Foundation Lahore at its office in connection with Independence Day celebrations.A large number of resilient orphan boys and girls participated enthusiastically in the ceremony. Patron of Alkhidmat Foundation Lahore Ziauddin Ansari Advocate, President Alkhidmat Foundation Lahore Engineer Ahmed Hamad Rashid and CEO Alkhidmat Foundation Lahore Mughees Qureshi attended the event as special guests. A large number of Alkhidmat Foundation volunteers and other participants were also present.The distinguished guests cut the Independence Day cake along with the orphan children. On the occasion, President Alkhidmat Foundation Lahore Engineer Ahmed Hamad Rashid distributed Pakistani national flags and badges among the children. A flag-hoisting ceremony was subsequently held with the participation of the resilient orphan children.The children expressed their patriotism and love for Pakistan by wearing green and white outfits. They also had beautiful green and white paintings made on their faces, reflecting their enthusiasm for Independence Day and their national spirit. The children presented national songs and tableaux during the ceremony, which were appreciated by the participants.President Alkhidmat Foundation Lahore Engineer Ahmed Hamad Rashid said that Pakistan was the result of the great sacrifices rendered by millions of Muslims. He stressed that the nation must value its freedom and play its role in the development, prosperity and stability of the country.He said that Alkhidmat Foundation was rendering valuable services by supporting orphans and providing them stipends. He added that Alkhidmat was fulfilling its responsibilities towards the education, care and better future of orphan children.The ceremony concluded with a special prayer for the security, stability, development and prosperity of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah.
