He stated that the Battle of Karbala is not merely a historical event, but an eternal and decisive line of demarcation between truth and falsehood, justice and tyranny, and freedom and subjugation—serving as a guiding light for the oppressed until the end of time. The grand martyrdom of the grandson of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the beloved son of Hazrat Fatima (RA), Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), and his loyal companions, is a luminous chapter in human history that empowers every conscientious soul to speak truth to power. A Battle for the Survival of Ideology, Not the Lust for Power. Elucidating the core philosophy of Karbala, the Ameer of Lahore remarked The grandson of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) did not sacrifice his entire family on the scorching sands of Karbala for personal gain, dynastic rule, or power. His sacred mission was the preservation of the true spirit of the Islamic system, the reformation of the Ummah, and the establishment of absolute justice. Through his blessed blood, he proved that when Islam’s consultative and justice-based system is threatened, silence is never an option for the righteous.” Drawing parallels between the tragedy of Karbala and current n ational and global affairs, Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate stated unequivocally:
“The greatest lesson of Imam Hussain’s (RA) martyrdom is the outright rejection of monarchy, dynastic politics, tyranny, and dictatorship disguised as democracy. ‘Yazeediyat’ is not confined to a single individual or a 1,400-year-old era. Every system that tramples upon constitutions and laws through brute force, fosters injustice, and exploits the poor is Yazeedi in its nature.”
Today, the horrific atrocities inflicted upon the oppressed people of Palestine and Kashmir are the worst modern manifestations of Yazeediyat, where global powers remain complicitly silent before falsehood.In Pakistan, the economic oppression, denial of fundamental rights, and injustice that the masses are facing demand a peaceful yet unyielding struggle. Standing up against this exploitative system is the call of the hour and the true essence of the Hussaini mission.Reawakening the conscience of the Muslim Ummah, particularly the youth of Pakistan, he warned that nations that bow before tyranny out of political expediency lose their freedom, honor, and dignity forever. Karbala teaches us that true societal transformation does not come from silence or apathy; it demands the sacrifice of one’s everything, standing firm against falsehood, and showing unwavering resilience on the path of truth. The establishment of Islam as a living system and the restoration of human dignity are the actual goals of the Master of Martyrs (RA).
